Levex docs

Everything you need to trade FX perps and index perps on Levex, from your first deposit to closing a position.

Overview

Levex is a perpetual futures exchange for the world's currencies and stock markets, built on Robinhood Chain. You trade two kinds of market from a single USDG balance:

FX perps64 currencies against the US dollar. Open 24/7, including weekends. Up to 25x.
Index perps31 national stock benchmarks, from the Nikkei 225 to the DAX. Exchange hours. Up to 20x.

Perpetuals have no expiry. You never hold the underlying currency or shares: you take a long or short position on the price, post margin, and settle profit and loss in USDG.

Quickstart

  1. Connect a wallet. MetaMask, Rabby, Coinbase Wallet or any browser wallet. Robinhood Chain is added to your wallet automatically.
  2. Deposit USDG. Open any market, go to your portfolio and deposit. Your balance is credited once the transfer is mined.
  3. Pick a market. Use the market picker (press ⌘K or /) to find a country, then choose the FX perps or Index perps tab.
  4. Open a position. Choose long or short, enter margin, set leverage and review the ticket, then sign.
  5. Close and withdraw. Close from your portfolio whenever the market is open, then withdraw your idle balance to your wallet.

Deposits & withdrawals

Depositing

  • Deposits are plain USDG transfers on Robinhood Chain, started from the portfolio panel in the app.
  • The deposit address is given to your connected wallet at the moment you deposit. Always deposit from inside the app.
  • Your balance is credited once the transaction is mined. Each transaction can only be credited once.
  • Levex charges no deposit fee. You pay only the network gas.

Withdrawing

  • You can withdraw any idle balance, meaning USDG not being used as margin in an open position or queued order.
  • Withdrawals are signed by your wallet and sent to the same wallet. There is no Levex withdrawal fee.
  • A withdrawal shows as pending until it is paid out on chain, then as confirmed with its transaction hash.

FX perps

Every FX market is a currency quoted against the US dollar, for example USDJPY (yen per dollar) or USDINR (rupees per dollar).

  • Long profits when the dollar strengthens against that currency, which means the pair rises.
  • Short profits when that currency strengthens against the dollar, which means the pair falls.
  • FX perps trade 24/7, including weekends and holidays.
  • Leverage caps run from 3x on volatile emerging currencies up to 25x on liquid majors. The cap for each pair is shown on its ticket.

Example: you expect the yen to strengthen. USDJPY will fall, so you short USDJPY.

Index perps

Index perps track a country's benchmark stock index in local points, such as the Nikkei 225, DAX 40, Nifty 50 or FTSE 100.

  • Profit and loss is your margin × leverage × the percentage move of the index, paid in USDG.
  • Index perps follow their home exchange's trading hours. The tab shows whether the exchange is open or closed.
  • Orders placed while the exchange is closed are queued and fill at the next open.
  • Positions opened within 6.5 hours of the close will be held across the close, so their leverage is capped at 5x.

Placing a trade

The order ticket shows everything before you sign:

EntryThe live mark price at signing, or the next live price if the market is closed.
NotionalMargin × leverage, the size of your position.
LiquidationThe price at which the position is closed automatically.
Fee0.05% of notional, charged on open.
Max payoutThe most the position can pay out, 10x your margin.

Orders fill instantly at the live mark. There is no order book, no slippage from thin liquidity and no waiting for a match. Each order is signed by your wallet with a one-time nonce, so it can't be replayed.

Queued orders

If a market isn't live when you place an order (an index outside exchange hours, or a pair whose price is updating), the order is queued instead of rejected.

  • Your margin and fee are set aside when the order is queued.
  • The order fills at the first live price when the market opens. It never fills at an old price.
  • You can cancel a queued order at any time and get the full margin and fee back.
  • If an order can't be filled at the open, it is cancelled and refunded automatically.

Prices & charts

  • Mark prices come from live market data feeds for each currency pair and index, refreshed continuously.
  • A mark older than 30 minutes is treated as not live, and new orders queue until a fresh price arrives.
  • Charts show 1D, 5D, 1MO, 6MO and 1Y candles. FX charts are quoted in local currency per US dollar; index charts in index points.

Funding

Funding keeps each market balanced. When more traders are on one side, that crowded side pays the other side.

  • Funding is quoted per 8 hours and capped at ±0.75% per 8 hours.
  • It accrues continuously while a position is open and is settled when you close.
  • Depending on which side you're on, funding can be paid to you.

Leverage & liquidation

  • Leverage multiplies both gains and losses. At 10x, a 1% move against you costs 10% of your margin.
  • Every position carries a maintenance margin of 0.5% of notional.
  • When a position's equity (margin plus unrealised profit and loss, minus funding) falls to the maintenance margin, it is liquidated automatically.
  • You can never lose more than the margin you put in.

liquidation move ≈ 1 / leverage − 0.5%

Max payout

Profit on each position is capped at 10x its margin. The cap is fixed when the position opens and shown on the ticket. If a position reaches its max payout it is closed automatically, locking in that profit.

Security

  • Levex never asks for your seed phrase or private key. Anyone who does is a scammer.
  • Every order, close and withdrawal requires a signature from your wallet, with a one-time nonce that can't be reused.
  • Deposits are verified on chain before they are credited.
  • Official links are only this site and x.com/Useleveragex.

Risks

  • Leveraged trading is high risk. Only trade money you can afford to lose.
  • Emerging-market currencies can move sharply on policy changes or devaluations.
  • Index prices can gap at the open after news while the exchange was closed, past your liquidation price.
  • Deposits and withdrawals depend on Robinhood Chain, USDG and your wallet working as expected.
